Damon & Raneshia King Plow Arts Center Atlanta Wedding

Damon & Raneshia King Plow Arts Center Atlanta Wedding

Raneshia and Damon are one of those couples that you just can not wait for their wedding!  After we shot their engagement session and found out just how much fun this couple is, we waited with anticipation of their special day!  We had a full day planned for this wedding, as Damon and Raneshia were going to do a first look followed by a limo photo tour prior to their ceremony.  We caught up with Raneshia and her bridesmaids early Saturday morning at the W Hotel Midtown for hair and makeup.  The girls were all being pampered while they chatted and watched tennis matches on the big screen in the room.

As the morning drew to a close, it was time for Raneshia to meet Damon for their first look.  We orchestrated their meeting off the lobby in the hotel for this special moment.  After these touching moments and a few pictures around the hotel, it was time to round up the wedding party for the limo ride photo tour.  As the wedding party consisted of 14 people, we were not able to make as many stops as we had planned, but in keeping with the light spirited nature of this couple, a lot of fun!  We started out at the Varsity, an Atlanta landmark and institution, for some fun shots.  Then on to the Fox Theater, and then for skyline shots from one of our favorite vantage points of the city.  Its amazing how fast 2 or 3 hours go by when you are having fun, so it was off to King Plow to freshen up and get ready for the wedding!

After getting some fun bridal party shots, and family formals, we were ready for their ceremony.  The ceremony was awesome as Raneshia and Damon tied the knot in front of family and friends, sealed with a kiss, and a “jumping of the broom” on the way back down the isle.  We followed up with some bride and groom portraits at the start of cocktail hour and then they joined family and friends to wind down before the reception.  The reception dinner and party were fantastic, with some great toasts by family and friends, cake cutting, boquet toss, garter toss, and a bunch of dancing.  The photobooth was a big hit as well.  Damon and Raneshia exited to sparklers, where they headed back to the hotel for the “after” party.  We had a great time with this couple and all their family and friends and wish them all the best!
