When we met Monique early this spring, we knew we would enjoy their upcoming summer wedding at Waterstone. As another of our military couples for the year, we are always glad to be able to capture images for these special couples and could not wait to meet Giuseppe on their engagement session day. Monique and Giuseppe had recently moved to Flowery Branch, so we decided to see where we could find in the area to do their session. We started out at the quaint old town of Flowery Branch, getting some fun shots around the renovated train depot building. As we soon found out, Monique and Giuseppe were up for just about anything, so we made sure we got plenty of images of them having fun along with all the romantic shots. Some of the old buildings fallen into ruins provided a great backdrop for some of the shots.
We decided to head towards Lake Lanier to see what we could find around the water, and found this nice park close to the dam. The weather and water were nice, so we just let them hang out enjoying each other for a while. Monique had brought along this bouquet of balloons and we were excited to add some fun interest to the pictures! Monique and Giuseppe frolicked with the balloons, running and jumping, and letting the wind push them about. It was a lot of fun and we really liked them bringing some original ideas to their session!
We headed back to Flowery Branch, and after a change of clothes, we captured Monique and Giuseppe in a few other locations along main street. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we do! Be sure to watch their slide show from the day!
