Awakening Creativity

Sometimes in all the day to day stuff that we have to do as photographers, I forget about doing things for me.  I spend some days at the desk for 10-12 hours working, or am running around doing boring, but necessary errands.  Plus when we get busy, I don’t even want to take out the camera unless I HAVE to.  Yes my children are the lowest on the picture count around here lately, well unless you count Mike & I!  To the kids excuse, they are all teenagers and will not let me photograph them like they did when they were little.  But they will all have to submit soon

What Makes A Moment?

As we begin our 7th year of shooting weddings, we’ve been looking back on all of the many, many weddings have been privileged to be a part of. (Not to forget the very first wedding we shot 9 years ago, all 35mm film, and where Cat broke Mike’s best camera on the first roll of film, missed the kiss and vowed to NEVER do it again!)

Over the last few weeks we’ve thought a lot about what our photography is all about, and realized as our name says it really is the MOMENTS. We have captured literally tens of thousands of these magical moments over the years, and look forward to capturing more.

Karla & Sabin’s Atlanta Engagement Session

Karla & Sabin are such a fun couple!  We started their session at the park at the Heritage in Sandy Springs and then had dinner and some fun, friendly competition at Dave & Busters!  We look forward to their summer wedding!

Katlyn & Ben’s Crystal Falls Wedding

Katlyn & Ben’s wedding was such fun!  Knowing that photographs were important, Katlyn made sure the timeline had lots of time for pictures at her amazingly beautiful venue.  From her beautiful dress to the personal touches in the decor the wedding was picture perfect!

Julie & Seth had an amazing day.  From the first moments of the day at Voila Salon through the last minutes of the day they let their personalities shine through!  We knew there would be some geeky touches but they went over and above what we expected.
